Membership Report – Bill Clarkson
MS. FORD: I'd
like to ask Bill Clarkson, who is the head of the Westminster Schools, if he
will make his membership report.
MR.
CLARKSON: Good afternoon. I'm pleased to make this membership
report as of February 2009. Our
organization has 18 honorary members, and if there are any honorary members in
the audience, I would like you to please stand now so we can recognize you.
And
I should add, after seeing them stand, distinguished honorary members.
We
have as of this date 229 second members from our member schools and we have 71
affiliate members. In the category
of new schools, they are listed on your program. New last year, but attending this meeting for the first time
is Chris Taylor from the Episcopal School of Acadiana in Louisiana.
Not
attending this year amongst the new schools are the Buckley School in
California, Larry Dougherty; the Sage School, in Massachusetts, Tim Monroe; the
Village School in New York, Eve Kleger; and Phillips Exeter Academy in New
Hampshire, Ty Tingley.
Among
those new schools attending with the head of school present, Chestnut Hill
School in Massachusetts, Stephen Tobolsky. Canterbury School of Florida, Tony Paulus. Institute of Notre Dame in Maryland,
Charisse Wernecke, and the Worcester School in Connecticut, Tim Golding.
The
attending second member is present at this meeting from the Ashbury College,
Ontario, Canada, Tam Matthews, head, but attending, Kendal Young.
